A message from our CEO:

Hi Dear Reader,

Happy Tuesday. And we are emerging into new realities during this pandemic. We hear from our customers and partners that many remain in active response mode, while others are moving to a place of reflection and looking forward. What’s next? It is hard for us to predict, but for our own organization, we are envisioning multiple scenarios with ideas on how to work within a variety of new realities as the impacts of the pandemic unfold.

To be honest, I’m holding conflicting visions. One is that we will experience enough disruption that new systems and ways of operating will emerge for the social sector. After all, how can we not insist on change when we see the disproportionate effect of this pandemic on communities of color, or the vast chasm in how youth of color or living with low income are experiencing remote education compared to those of better means? But then I also read that we are currently not hitting the highest need communities and industries with federal relief funds, and I wonder how we can get this right.
From our seat, I’m reflecting on what we can do to support you as you monitor your new and emerging realities and plan for your future. Since we are data and strategy people, we have decided to design and launch a 6-week cohort opportunity in mid-June focused on understanding your new reality, with data, and designing for the future. This actionable and brief, but intensive, learning opportunity will guide you through reflection on your current programmatic realities (via data), and support you to develop actionable future scenarios. We will let you know when registration is available. Until then, please see the other opportunities and resources below, including Good Tech Fest 2020.

With Gratitude,

Cindy Eby
